St. John’s Vision Statement

St. John’s is a welcoming, multigenerational Christian community that nourishes lifelong spiritual formation through faith, worship, and fellowship.  We celebrate our gifts from God through shared Christian ministries, which are exemplified by our traditions, music, youth programs, and community outreach.  We welcome people from all backgrounds and invite them to call St. John’s their spiritual home.

Upcoming Events at St. John's Church

St. John’s Episcopal Church, 400 Main St. Niantic, will commence their fall program with Homecoming Sunday on September 7, 2008. All children preschool through 12th grade will begin classes following the welcome reception. Church school includes Pre K through 6th grade and programs for teens at St. Johns include Rite-13, Journey to Adulthood, and Young Adults in the Church. The Sr. and Junior choirs will also begin on September 7th. Church services on Sundays are at 8:00am and 10:00am with child care and coffee hour following the 10 am service. Wednesday there is Holy Eucharist at 11:00. Any family with young children may register by calling the church office at 739-2324.
